As a former program associate for the Middle East Task Force, Jonathan Guyer contributed to the program’s aim of bringing new perspectives to longstanding conflicts and reinvigorating U.S. policy in the region. He provided program and research support to Daniel Levy, co-director of the Middle East Task Force.

Jonathan is also an assistant editor of The Middle East Channel, an online publication of Foreign Policy Magazine and the Project on Middle East Political Science together with NAF’s Middle East Task Force.

Jonathan earned his A.B. from Brown University with a concentration in development studies. In addition to speaking Hebrew, Jonathan has studied Arabic in Cairo and Tangiers. In his free time, he draws political cartoons and blogs at Mideast by Midwest and The Huffington Post.
