As the events associate at the New America Foundation, Eliza French supports the External Relations team. She also works with program to assist in executing over 200 events for the Foundation each year in Washington, D.C. and in New America’s New York City space.
 
Prior to joining New America, Ms. French worked on The Atlantic’s live events team as a fellow at the Atlantic Media Company. She managed audience recruitment and provided general support for a wide range of high-profile events, including the Washington Ideas Forum.
 
Ms. French graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in art history and French studies and a minor in economics.  While at Duke, Ms. French wrote a bi-weekly column in the daily newspaper, The Chronicle, and served as editorial page editor.
