Grady Johnson is a program associate with the Open Technology Institute at the New American Foundation where he works on issues ranging from spectrum policy to online privacy and transparency.

Before joining OTI, he was part of the Association for Progressive Communications (apc.org), working with human rights defenders and activists on secure communications, and on issues related to Internet governance. Grady is also the lead editor of GenderIT.org, an organization that supports women's and LGBT groups in digital rights advocacy and secure communications.
