Alex Holt is a program associate with the Education Policy Program at New America Foundation. He conducts research in support of the Federal Education Budget Project and the Early Education Initiative.
Alex previously wrote for Politifact.com and the Tampa Bay Times as an editorial intern and has also been published in Jordan’s JO Magazine. Before coming to New America, Alex studied Arabic in Amman, Jordan and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Communication in 2011.
