Kayshin Chan is a field analyst with the Open Technology Institute, evaluating the broadband initiative in Philadelphia, Penn.

Prior to joining the New America Foundation, she was a research associate with the Public Health Management Corporation, conducting evaluation studies of tobacco cessation and chronic disease health education for underserved communities. She has helped lead qualitative and quantitative analyses for local, state, and federally funded projects. She also provided technical assistance and training to local nonprofits on increasing their capacity for program evaluation.

Ms. Chan holds her Master of Public Health from Emory University, with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education. She completed her undergraduate degree at Rice University, with a major in Sociology and minor in Health Policy Studies.
