Elisheva Goldberg is assistant editor of the forthcoming blog Zion Square where she will facilitate a new American Jewish conversation about Israel. Her role includes working closely with Senior Fellow Peter Beinart on the blog, and research and support for both his forthcoming book The Crisis of Zionism and his weekly columns in The Daily Beast.
A 2011 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude, Elisheva holds a B.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations with concentrations in Hebrew and Arabic. At Penn she served two year-long terms as Editor-in-Chief of Kedma, Penn’s journal on Jewish thought, culture, and Israel. Elisheva has lived and studied in Alexandria, Egypt through the United States Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship, in Rabat, Morocco through AmidEast's study abroad program, and in Israel and the West Bank through the Israel Academy for Leadership at Ein Prat.
