John Williams

As New America Foundation’s audio-visual and multimedia producer, John Williams works with the External Relations team to provide multimedia support for live events, webcasts, podcasts, as well as radio and television communications. He also post-produces audio and video content for New America’s website. His goal is to constantly improve and enhance New America’s multimedia presentations.
 
Mr. Williams has over 15 years of experience in multi-track audio recording, editing, and mastering. He has been involved in multi-media broadcast for the past six years. In 2011 Mr. Williams was appointed an Open Source Fellow at Public.Resource.Org and he teaches audio excellence and new media best practices at conferences around the region.
 
He attended Antioch University in Yellow Springs, Ohio and The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio.
