Hannah Emple is a Program Associate for the Asset Building Program at the New America Foundation. She provides program and research support on a range of topics related to economic security, social development, and asset building. Prior to joining the New America Foundation, Ms. Emple was a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow and conducted research in both Baltimore and Washington, D.C. about community-level barriers to food access, recent improvements to federal nutrition programs, and the impact of social and economic policies on people with low income. Originally from north of Boston, she graduated magna cum laude from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a B.A. in Geography and Community & Global Health.
