Anjana Ravi is a program associate for the Global Assets Project at the New America Foundation. She supports the development of the Savings for the Poor Innovation and Knowledge Network (SPINNAKER), an online tool designed to spur collaboration, dialogue and innovation around savings products for the poor.
Before joining the Global Assets Project, she interned in the UK parliament for Labour MP Emily Thornberry, focusing on immigration and asylum policy. Anjana holds a Master of Science in Political Economy of Late Development from the London School of Economics, where she received a distinction for her thesis on political alliances and conditionality compliance at the IMF. She is also a graduate of New York University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in politics and math.
