As a Policy Analyst with the Health Policy Program at the New America Foundation, Sarah Axeen conducted research on rising health care costs, expanding health insurance coverage, and improving the quality of health care.  In February of 2010, Ms. Axeen left for a position with the Health and Human Resources Division at the Congressional Budget Office.

Ms. Axeen is a cum laude graduate of Pomona College where she studied public policy analysis with an emphasis in politics.  Before joining New America, she researched the political viability of large-scale reforms to the Medicare program.
