Nicole Tosh is a former program associate with the Global Assets Project where she focused primarily on the Global Savings and Social Protection Initiative (GSSP) and the YouthSave Project.
Before joining New America Foundation, Ms. Tosh served as an intern in the Human Rights Program at the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty where she helped with advocacy and outreach efforts in the District of Columbia, testifying before the City Council, drafting fact sheets, and serving on the steering committee of a local campaign. She has studied abroad in Eastern Europe, where she took a class on the Holocaust, and in Jordan, where she studied Arabic. Ms. Tosh received an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Union University, where her research primarily focused on the relationship between gender, culture, human rights and economic development.
