Health Policy Program in The News Journal | 'Controlling Costs Is as Important to Reform as Providing Quality Service'

According to a recent report from the New America Foundation, health care costs hurt the nation's products in the world market.

The report said, "Employer health costs for manufacturing firms in the United States, $2.38 per worker per hour, were much higher than the foreign trade-weighted average of $0.96 per worker per hour in 2005." LINK
