As a Policy Analyst with the Health Policy Program at the New America Foundation, Sarah Axeen conducts research on rising health care costs, expanding health insurance coverage, and improving the quality of health care. Utilizing economic and data-driven analysis, she works to determine the effect of policy interventions on access to health coverage as well as the cost and quality of health care.
Ms. Axeen is a cum laude graduate of Pomona College where she studied public policy analysis with an emphasis in politics. Before joining New America, she researched the political viability of large-scale reforms to the Medicare program.
