Rachel White currently serves as the interim president and director of External Relations of New America Foundation. She is responsible for leading and implementing strategic and tactical organizational and fundraising objectives, leads and directs all external relations strategies including public events and media partnerships, and serves as a bridge between the president's office and the rest of the organization. Ms. White is the chief liaison with the board of directors, leadership council, and New America's advisory councils, and works closely with them, as well as with private foundations and corporations, to maximize the impact and effectiveness of the foundation and to secure the annual budget.  

Prior to joining the New America Foundation, Ms. White worked for the World Wildlife Fund and the National Women's Law Center.  She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
