Jason Delisle

As Research Director for the Education Policy Program at the New America Foundation, Jason Delisle develops content for the Federal Education Budget Project’s Web site and contributes regularly to New America’s Higher Ed Watch Blog.

Before joining New America, Mr. Delisle was a senior analyst on the Republican staff of the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, where he played a key role in developing the College Cost Reduction Act of 2007. From 2000 to 2006, he worked in the office of Rep. Thomas Petri (R-WI) as a legislative assistant specializing in education policy. A graduate of Lawrence University, he also holds a master’s degree in public policy from George Washington University.
