Elizabeth Wu

Senior Communications Associate, New America Foundation

As Senior Communications Associate, Elizabeth Wu facilitates and helps promote New America’s public events. Her responsibilities also include managing New America’s media coverage and working with the communications team to increase public awareness of the foundation’s work. Ms. Wu brings her experience as Research Associate for both the Communications and Development departments to this position.

Before joining New America, Ms. Wu interned at the German Marshall Fund, where she worked for the Marshall Memorial Fellowship Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in peace and conflict studies and German from the University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, Ms. Wu researched multikulti Germany with Prof. Deniz Göktürk; she also studied German and European politics at Georg-August Universität in Göttingen, Germany. She is a Ford Family Foundation Scholar and an elected Board Member of the Ford Family Scholar Alumni Association.
