Christina Larson
writes about international environmental conflict, governance, climate change,
and civil society. She has reported widely from across China and Southeast Asia; her essays and
reportage have appeared in The New York
Times, International Herald Tribune, Boston
Globe, The New Republic,
The Washington
Monthly, among other publications. She has been a visiting fellow at the
School for Advanced International Studies in Washington,
DC; the East-West
Center in Honolulu,
HI; and the Reuters Institute for the Study of
Journalism at Oxford University,
UK. A native of
Atlanta, Georgia,
she graduated from Stanford
University.
As a fellow at the New America Foundation, Ms. Larson's work
will explore a wide array of issues related to the politics and science of
climate change. She will also continue to investigate the intersection of
environmental governance and emerging civil society in China and other developing countries.
She is a contributing editor at Foreign
Policy and Washington Monthly
magazines.
