As a former Program Associate in the Education Policy Program at the New America Foundation, Benjamin Miller helped to promote policy ideas with respect to K-12 finance and such higher education issues as access, quality, and affordability. He also contributed to the program’s blog, www.HigherEdWatch.org.
Mr. Miller is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University, with a bachelor’s degree in history and economics. While at Brown, he served on the editorial board of the Brown Daily Herald. He also interned with the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland, where he conducted research on high-stakes high school testing, school finance lawsuits, and adequate yearly educational progress.
