The New America Foundation is accepting applications for non-residential fellows from the Middle Eastern and North African research and policy community to participate in the New Voices Program, a new initiative that enables people from the region to access and engage with policymakers and persons of influence in Washington, DC.
This fellowship is available to individuals originally from a Middle East/North African country and currently based in the region. The goal of this fellowship program is to reinvigorate Middle East policy discourse with new ideas and arguments about conflicts and transitions in the region and U.S. foreign policy. The fellows will have a unique opportunity to create analyses on their areas of expertise and to promote it via our broad networks and media partners. We seek fellows who are rooted in the movements of change.
The fellowship will run for six weeks, based in Washington, DC. The New America Foundation will cover airfare, transportation in DC, as well as room and board for the six week period. The fellow will also receive staff support from the Middle East Task Force.
