Intern, Senior Fellow Peter Beinart

The New America Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual for a full-time internship with Senior Fellow Peter Beinat for the summer. The internship is based in New York City.

The intern will be working with Peter and Zion Square staff members doing research, pitching blog posts, building social media presence, and helping with the day-to-day tasks of running a blog. Zion Square is a forthcoming blog that aims to widen the discourse surrounding Israel. It will bring together some of the most dynamic American Jewish and Israeli intellectuals as well as religious leaders to discuss politics, policy and the challenges of living in an age of Jewish power. This is a position for someone who is interested in being a part of the American Jewish conversation about Israel.

Responsibilities

Assist Peter with the group blog Zion Square.
Update, organize, and manage various elements o the Zion Square website.
Helping out with New America NYC events once a week.
Other tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

Proven research and analysis skills.
Familiarity with internet research and data tools.
Proficiency in social media strategy and marketing preferred.
A working knowledge of Hebrew and/or Arabic preferred.
