One can certainly ask any question or Mr. Duncan and Obama, but one only need look at actions rather than proposals.
Mr. Duncan cannot proclaim that his tenure of Chicago Public School superintendent has been stellar. In fact, the reading comprehension among high school students has remained woefully dismal or slipped during his tenure. Is this what we are to expect from his leadership at the national level ?
Of course, Mr. Obama is an supposed champion of public school education. But if public education is so good, then why did he enroll his children in private school ? In fact, this seems to be the pattern of nationally elected Democratic representatives to send their own children to private schools. Like the Clintons and the Gores. But all of us of the great unwashed are relegated to public schools due to economic circumstances.
Duncan's record and Obama's role modeling
