In addition to coordinating the federal government's largest early education programs under the oversight of the Department of Health and Human Services with those under the Department of Education, how will you work to coordinate research conducted by IES, NIH and NSF in early childhood so that it informs delivery of early childhood services? For example, couldn't Early Reading First and Title 1 grants have a research component as one invited priority to help determine the efficacy of these projects?
